Nomi Network combats human trafficking by creating pathways to safe employment, empowering women and girls to break cycles of slavery in their families and communities. Women and girls make up 71% of human trafficking victims. That’s an entire generation who will continue to live at a higher risk of exploitation.
To celebrate International Women’s Day, PIMCO and their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partner, Nomi Network, worked with KIN to produce a short film featuring stories of trainees in the Nomi Network India program to premiere at PIMCO’s International Women’s Day Event. We worked with the Nomi Network US and India based teams to produce a film that reflected the life experiences of the women and the incredible opportunities Nomi Network, with the help of PIMCO, have provided them.
