Hope For New York (HFNY) serves New Yorkers in need by partnering with non-profit organizations across the city that serve vulnerable communities. HFNY aims to resource and strengthen these affiliates in four ways: through grantmaking, mobilizing volunteers, capacity building and training programs, and through collaborative network opportunities.
As a longterm client, HFNY has entrusted KIN with a variety of projects including film and photo production as well as event production. Over the last couple of years, with an urgent need for virtual livestream fundraisers and often remote film production, KIN partnered with HFNY to produce five fundraising events and over 12 videos. Our event production team worked hard to create engaging and compelling online and or in person programming, utilizing livestream event platforms as well as in person venues. Each event raised between $400 thousand - $1.2 million in funding which greatly helped HFNY affiliates across New York City in one of the most crucial seasons in recent history.
